Thanks, Don. Universal and poignant words. Not too late for us yet to learn what we're losing and stop the paving of paradise (and maybe, plant something even better on the other side of this.)
More than 100 retired California judges donned their robes and renewed their lifetime oaths of office to affirm the vital importance of an independent judiciary and the rule of law. The resulting "Wall of Justice" video brings together individual recordings from participating judges into a single, powerful tribute. The Wall of Justice was produced by California Judges Association’s Retired Judges Initiative (RJI) in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Thanks for sharing, Karen. That video is a beautiful display of solidarity and commitment. Reminds me of the displays of international judicial solidarity in Poland years ago.
I should have realized that Protect Democracy would have a Substack! Thank you so much for all the work you do—your site has been such an invaluable resource to me as I worked to create UTW and draft the No Confidence Amendment we're working to ratify.
Great article this morning full of useful information.
Thanks, Glenn. Appreciate your kind words and glad you found our piece useful.
