I agree, that introducing the subscribers of Paul’s work (of which I am one) to the subscribers of this important organization that I just learned about through the Indivisible weekly What’s the Plan, is a wonderful opportunity to continue to grow and strengthen the grassroots!!

I want to be sympathetic, but I think you have it backward.
"During the 2024 United States presidential election over 150 million people cast their vote to decide the country’s next leader. Generation Z – adults aged 18-29 – represented by far the lowest turnout, with only around 20 million voting despite more than double that number being eligible. That is even less than the 2020 and 2016 elections."
Once your generation starts showing up to vote in large numbers, EVERYONE will pay attention to your needs. If you vote, politicians will craft legislation to influence your voting preferences. If you don't show up, no one pays attention to your concerns.
Wonder piece! Thank you for all the stats about our youth. They are truly remarkable. While on substack I talk about care & caregiving for my mom — I work alongside youth who started the Futures Commission… we leverage future foresight skills and sports to engage youth in civic engagement. We begin talking and engaging where they feel most comfortable meeting — outside, out in the field/court/third space. And move our bodies together before we talk about their hopes. We bring local elected leaders to these community spaces. They have a lot to change and already so impacted by the broken system.

That's just how it works.
Good data. How do you reconcile, however, the fact that youth simply don't vote. Election after election they simply don't show up.
