Two Hungary scenarios with major implications for the United States
As it seems I always must, I ask, may we give Erdogan some credit for his exemplary undermining of democracy from within?
Putin and Trump both want Orban in power.
Strange coincidence.
I tought their elections are not free and fair though? If the results are rigged, how can they get out from under Orban?
1. There are degrees of unfree and unfair.
2. There may also be preparations to monitor the vote, as happened to frustrate Erdogan's attempt to turn the tally against Imamoglu, and as I believe there were in Poland when Tusk won.
I thought Orban had surely figured out a way but he conceded. I think wait until he actually leaves office....just to be sure.
