I had a museum director I worked for who managed this way. Forced me to fix or resist stupid, thoughtless ideas and left me without energy to make my own.
I am late reading this, but I greatly appreciate this post! My inbox is like a firehose, and I've not had the energy to read a lot of it lately, but— boy, howdy — am I encouraged to read this post! I want to share it with my comrades seeking sanity among the chaotic fake news and advertising orgy. Every concept was so cleanly and concisely presented. We do need to winnow through the dirty laundry and spray of sewer sludge pouring forth from any electronically delivered "news". We will stay strong and pay attention. Thank you again.
We should all be outraged and paying attention. The Federal Government is completely out of control and can only implode from within. It's just a matter of when. Will Trump create the spark? or will it be the next wannabe Autocrat? We've had quite a few. Social Media and Freedom from filters is not the enemy here. That's what they want you to believe, because they can't control the narrative. Places like Substack are where any uprising of the people against the Oligarchs will come from. Do your own homework and critical thinking. Don't believe anyone anywhere. Be skeptical because everyone has an agenda, even me. The bureaucracy isn't going to save us. it's what's destroying us as a nation.
