The White Supremacy of Trump has created his own KKK, his own slave patrols.

My own Republican Representative has even run ads telling us that he is helping Trump protect our women from immigrants.

Why doesn't Texas secede? The rest of the country fervently supports their secessionist movement. And then they would have their national guard at home where it can be deployed the next time a hurricane or flash flood rips through.

Our neighbors in Chicago were subjected to police violence, Dragged out of their beds in the middle of the night. Held in handcuffs for hours.

DHS was not restrained by the Constitution.

This post was made by a un-American who cares little that Trump is ignoring the rule of law and feels free to violate our Constitution. It’s ironic the all those Republicans in the House and Senate who keep holding up their picket Constitution are the same people ignoring it as they support Trump’s illegal Constitutional crimes.

From your experience, would you compose a Substack predicting what some of the Trump moves will be politically in next 12 months, or maybe 3 months, or just using some of this week's issues. From your 2018 book, you encapsulated an accurate depiction of Trump campaign tactics. From that, and seeing you on panels from time to time, others would benefit.

I realize making predictions will mean you will be wrong. But in baseball, hitters that average .333 are in the hall of Fame, making outs 2/3 of the time.

My hope is that candidates, advocacy groups and others will learn. thank you.

They should be prosecuted (those committing violent acts) when they no longer have the protection of Trump. There is video evidence and truthful testimony. I doubt they are wearing name tags, but someone will recognize them. The Texas National Guard troops pictured jumping out of trucks were fat by Pete Hegseth’s standards. Now the Supreme Court will justify the action when it finally reaches them

Nobody should be allowed to stay in any country where they did not enter legally and/or overstayed a permitted entry. If people do not like the government where they are citizens, then they should stay there and push for beneficial changes--using revolutions if that is the only solution.

The US categorically doesn't let people do that, though. God forbid people determine their own form of government- if they have the audacity to pick something other than capitalism and "liberal democracy," we engineer regime change and enforce our system on them. We've been doing it for *decades*.

If the mayors, governors, etc controlled their own criminals, it wouldn’t be needed.

This has nothing to do with criminals. It’s a blatant misuse of power that is unAmerican.

If you think this is about “controlling criminals” you are either not paying attention or you’ve had too much kool-aid.

The Fifth Amendment to the Constitution plainly says that no person - it does not specify that the person has to be an American, a non-criminal, a citizen, or even a "legal" occupant (I'm putting that in quotes because "who is legal" has changed over time, e.g., Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882) - shall "be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law."

Even if this were "needed," it's blatantly illegal. I have loved ones in Chicago and near Portland, from very different sides of the political spectrum. If this kind of quelling were needed, I would have heard it from them, long ago, probably literally long before I heard it from the government.

Crime in big cities is always an issue by virtue of the sheer number of people living in close proximity and the logistics and nuanced policing involved in keeping the peace is a job for local and state police, not a militarized, radicalized and racist gang from outside that acts in ways that engender the very chaos it is purportedly there to quell.

How many criminals were brought to justice? None!!! One person dead and a woman injured by shooting, another when something was shot into her car while driving. Cleaning out a complete apartment building, terrorizing citizens and children is beyond the duties of normal police. This is terrorism writ large. It must stop.

Pictures of the quasi military getting off a truck shows grossly overweight men with weapons. Their language and actions demonstrate the level of intelligence they will use. State against state?? Donald at his worst manipulated by Miller and vouht
