WaPo sometimes has a balanced story, but a headline that is misleading. This week legacy over-covered LA protests and under-covered more damaging actions by the administration: cutting Medicaid, hidden provisions in do-called BBB that would give Trump more power, RFK firing entire vaccine advisory panel, contrary to his confirmation testimony. Those actions far outweigh a few burned electric cars - intentional distraction?
People need to know that the violence is most likely being perpetrated by anarchists, not the peaceful protesters.

THIS ISN'T ABOUT THE PROTESTERS. I JUST FOUND OUT, THE CHRISTLE FAMILY HAD A DEAL WITH A NETWORK BEFORE THEIR RELEASE!! THE NETWORK, PAYED 5 MILLION TO A DUMMY CORP, UNDER DONALD TRUMP JR,. THE TRUMP AND IS MAKING BILLIONAIRE DOLLAR DEALS BEHIND 0UR BACKS! BOYCOTT THE CHRISTLE SHOW!!!
The legacy media has and will primarily focus on the negative for entertainment and sensationalism. I do not like that the media has not covered all the peaceful protests. I do not like how the media normalizes our President.
The main stream media is not accurate at all in my opinion. Their reporting has caused a huge part of our society to buy into their negative only, not accurate, fear tactics and not helpful information.
The media follow the hot stories. T and cronies have acknowledged that their strategy is to flood the newswaves with drama to distract from the actual work of implementing their racist, sexist, oligarchy favoring plans. Most of the media are falling for it; they love to report on horse races. It's why I read about 10 substacks a day. I no longer listen to any legacy news. Also the old style news programs use newscasters who talk fast in a panicky tone of voice, presumably to stir up emotion to pull in viewers, while presenting few new facts or analysis. No thanks.
