“When lawyers operate under intimidation — sacrificing principles to avoid becoming targets — the system of checks and balances and the rule of law weakens.” - The rather rapid sacrifice of “principles” by so many law firms suggests that many top lawyers don’t have real admirable principles.

Are there any legal ramifications for a lawyer who was coerced into defending the administration to not do his / her best work on the case? If I were Trump, I’d not want the legal services that I coerced someone to do. So much for the art of the deal…

I think this is the moment I have been waiting for since Trump took office.

The logic is here. My thoughts are confused, but I think we can do this. We need the support of all Americans, majority the ABA deserves our attention and applause for becoming the social standard of change. I think I will reread this note several times before I can explain it to others and I’m not an attorney, but I know several thank you it just the idea of Trump winning so much just seemed too much! And it turns out it was thank you again.
